Hee hee! I don’t really have anything to say today.  I scrapped this weekend and had a good time with my online friends. Hum… Haven’t posted any work for a long time maybe I should do that. 😛 Maybe tomorrow.

Thanks V, for the blue and gold vote!

I am currently sporting toes with emoticons, thanks to a certain 15 year old that I know. They are on a yellow/gold back ground and because of that I thought they were all going to be smiley faces but no. They are all different. Cute in a weird sort of way. Certainly a conversation piece. lol

Okay, that’s all I have today. Night!

Game Day Top 10

September 5, 2010 at 4:23 pm (Uncategorized)

Here in Gapperland, otherwise known as Saskatchewan, they take their football seriously! I tell you, the whole province is crazy! lol So, now that I’ve lived here for almost a year I have made a few observations about “Game Day”. Here they are:

10. The whole province dresses in “Game Day” colours, green and white.

9. To the point where most businesses even allow their staff to trade in their regular uniform for green shirts or jerseys.

8. If the game is on Sunday, the whole weekend is “Game Day”.

7. You can’t go anywhere or do anything without seeing Rider colours.

6. Every year on Labour Day weekend they have a game, “The Labour Day Classic”. This seems to be one of the biggest games of the year.

5. It’s a sickness, I tell you! I had a customer who had her toes painted with the Roughrider logo and colours.

4. Everybody knows when the Roughriders are playing, except me. lol

3. I have met 1 other person here who doesn’t where green on “Game Day”.

2. Stores set up displays of Rider Gear. Big displays! They sell everything you can think of with Rider logos and colours.

And my number 1 observation?

1. I won’t be wearing green and white tomorrow. I’ll be proudly displaying my Blue and Gold. Manitoba’s colours. lol Go Bombers! Go! I hope they win this year’s Labour Day Classic.
